Sayre Youth League

Welcome to the registration for the SYL Fishing League.  This league is open to all youth from the ages of  Kindergarten  through 12th grade or 5-18 years old.  The age groups will be split into  3 co-ed divisions: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6-12th.  Participants will be able to fish any government managed bodies of water for target fish species.  NO FARM POND OR PRIVATE LAKE FISH ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ENTRY.  ALL FISH MUST BE CAUGHT FULLY BY THE PARTICIPANT.    Participants must follow all local, state, and federal laws for harvest and possession of the fish.  All fish must be weighed and pictured at ODOWC check in locations to get fish added to the point standings. Target Fish Species: Bass (Largemouth, Smallmouth, Striped, Hybrid Striped, and White bass),  Catfish (Blue, Channel, and Flathead), Trout (Rainbow or Brown),  and Crappie (White or Black).   Fishing opens October 1st, 2021 for the Winter Harvest Season.
